I have finished June's mid-month dishcloth. The recommended color was a variegated yarn, but I couldn't see the pattern of the cloth because of the distraction of the color changes, so I ripped it out and started again with a solid color.
After knitting the red cloth, I made a change by doing rows 1-10 twice to balance the center diamonds. Mom says this is one of her favorite patterns so far.

lovely!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it in solid colors. I did mine in Painted Desert, but the diamonds don't really show up in the picture, although, I can see them when I look at it myself.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a talentedknitter, Mom!!!! I love you!
ReplyDeleteMiriam, I had so much fun looking at your blog tonight. My mom emailed me your blogspot. You are a very talented knitter. I went down to Grandma Jackie's tons of times trying to learn to crochet and just never could get an even stitch. I LOVE all your designs that you have knitted! What a fun hobby! I also LOVE that bookcase, what makes it so neat is that your dad made it.
