Frosty Jr.

I decided Frosty needed a companion, but as I tried to design another snowman, Frosty’s teenage son appeared.  Hence we have Frosty Jr.

Frosty the Snowman

This is my favorite of the snowman patterns that I have written this winter.

I have both left and right handed versions of this pattern.  Please note that it really doesn’t matter which version you use.  If you use the opposite pattern you will get a mirror image of Frosty.  The wind will be blowing from the left instead of the right, and the carrot nose will be slanted the other direction.

Snowman in Grandma’s Favorite Dishcloth Pattern

Here’s my pattern for a Snowman in Grandma’s Favorite Dishcloth.  I’ve enjoyed adding a crochet border on my Grandma’s Favorite cloths  I have written this as an option for this cloth.
I have written the pattern with both the left and right handed sections in one pattern.  I’m hoping it won’t be too confusing.  The pattern can be found here.

Snowman Pattern

Here’s the first of my snowmen patterns to share.  This one reminds me of a first grader’s attempt, but as I looked at the cloth later,  I thought he was still cute enough to share.

I’ve made directions for both left and right handed knitters.  I realize that it really doesn’t make a difference which pattern you would follow because there are no words.  The snowman’s arms are the only thing that will really change by following the opposite directions.

This really should have been a January or February entry, but alas it’s now almost the end of March.
Usually Eugene gets a dusting of snow at least once a year; sometimes we are lucky to even get a few inches - but not this year.  For the past three months I’ve been knitting the only snow I’ve seen this year.

Valentine Countdown - Day 1

Today for the Valentine Countdown our card read, "Tonight exchange cheesy Valentine cards that you'll make or buy for less than $1." Well tonight I found a card on my pillow. I opened it to find the words - I love you!! along with a slice of cheese. I love my husband's sense of humor! :)
